Shortly after its foundation in 2019, TBRM Group realized how important it was to use a comprehensive management system. Indeed, the incubator was dealing with several entities and needed to find a way to manage them all efficiently and gain easy access to all the data. This is the reason why the team chose to adopt Odoo, a multi-company fully integrated solution, with the assistance provided by the partner Circel.

Founded in 2019, TBRM Group is an incubator that provides a wide range of services in the engineering industry, especially to high-tech startups. Design, protoshop, assembly, testing, manufacturing, and aftersales, the company offers solutions to support product development from start to finish. 

At the very beginning, the teams were dealing with complex administration and inefficient processes due to the presence of multiple manufacturing companies. Managing intercompany transactions, inventory and accounting without a properly integrated solution to do so was time-consuming and error-prone. 

Therefore, TBRM Group quickly started investigating options to handle the management of several branches within one single tool - instead of relying solely on Excel. If the multi-company capabilities were the main requirement, the team was also looking for a software that could save time, automate certain processes and centralize data.

In February 2020, TBRM Group looked into Odoo and was in touch with an implementation partner. The team was impressed by the multi-company features, as it was key for the incubator office to easily access all entities, especially knowing that it had to manage accounting and bookkeeping for them all. And all of that for an affordable price!

A decision was made to go forward with installing and configuring Odoo’s all-in-one, integrated solution. The implementation process took 2 months before the group became fully operational. Since the incubators and start-ups were relatively new and had been using only Excel, it made it easier to start working with Odoo in a short period of time.

From 2021 up until today, the assistance of Circel has helped TBRM Group achieve to grow from 1 to 4 Odoo.sh servers, and from 5 to 20 entities. Odoo, as a tool with robust capabilities, and Circel, as a valuable support and implementation partner, fuel the growth and the ambition of TBRM Group, with a common goal to achieve the best results possible.

Thanks to Odoo’s multi-company features, TBRM Group can now quickly switch between the different branches while keeping data synchronized and streamlining processes. This provides:

Today, the group wants to keep optimizing intercompany workflows and production management, fine-tuning the software without adding unnecessary complexity. In order to do so, automation needs to be expanded further and Odoo’s analytics capabilities need to be even better utilized.
