Upgrading to Odoo 18 may cause Zebra PDAs to stop working with barcodes in the Odoo app, while Ventor still functions correctly. This is likely due to changes in Odoo's barcode scanning library. Ensure the Zebra scanner is in keyboard wedge mode, sending data as keyboard input.
If needed, install a keyboard wedge app to emulate keyboard input. Check Odoo app settings for scanner selection and review Ventor's configurations for clues. If problems persist, consult Odoo forums, consider a custom module, or contact Odoo support.
