i don't think its JS code.... You can always edit the description by going into the task of corresponding project you have selected in time sheet.
projects app - project - task - Timesheet tab - here it shows the date/employee/description..... Description being "/" as u mentioned can be edited by clicking on it.
I am still learning... but i hope, this work for you.

thanks for help but i think there is a tricky way doing that ,because it adds / manually after keeping the desc empty
