Established in April of 1999, Editorial Leto began its journey launching a magazine: Cuajimalpa. The company’s focus is the conceptualization, design, drafting and commercialization of specialized books in bookazine format, which combines the easy reading and vibrant elements of a magazine with the in depth and quality information of books.

Editorial Leto’s objective is to collaborate with associations and companies to create books with exceptional photographic art and valuable content that will contribute to their respective industries.

The Start with Odoo

Before Odoo, Editorial Leto didn’t have an ERP system. As the company grew, the need for an improved database management solution became critical. They began looking for an ERP system and foundOdoo through the internet.

It was of the utmost importance that Editorial Leto found an easy-to-use system that allowed them to have a complete management of their database. They decided to work with Odoo after analyzing several alternatives.

The Implementation and Usage of Odoo

Ricardo Solorio, Editorial Leto’s representative, has called the implementation process “easy and practical”. While the implementation process is still ongoing, they are already using several Odoo tools like Contacts, Calendar, Project, and CRM. Ricardo highlights how they have benefited from the Contacts app and that Odoo has helped them streamline their processes in general.

Odoo’s Contacts app comes installed by default in every database and allows the users to register the company's clients as contacts. A contact is a repository of crucial commercial information that makes the communication and commercial transactions easier.

Odoo’s Project app allows the user to manage active projects, schedule tasks, assign activities to coworkers and track each team’s performance.

Odoo’s CRM app helps the user organize sales activities, track leads, close opportunities, and get precise forecasts. Furthermore, this app allows the user to organize opportunities in workflows and manage daily activities with meetings and upcoming tasks.

The people at Editorial Leto recommend other companies to work with Odoo. They are still in the implementation process, but they already consider it a tool that could help any internal process any company could have.
