With a tradition dating back to 1944, Casa Páramo has long been synonymous with quality and design in the world of plumbing and fixtures in Colombia. But it wasn’t until they implemented Odoo that they achieved an exponential leap in efficiency and control. What once was a manual and handcrafted operation has now evolved into an integrated digital structure that powers their growth with clarity and strength.
Casa Páramo is a third-generation family business specializing in plumbing parts and the manufacturing of faucets and bathroom fixtures, with a unique and nostalgic approach. Their main differentiator lies in the production of vintage-style bronze pieces, reviving discontinued products and reimagining them with a robust, detailed design.

From its beginnings in the Chapinero neighborhood of Bogotá, under the leadership of its founder Carlos Páramo, the company has become a recognized name in the supply of European spare parts. Their philosophy of preserving what is both useful and beautiful has allowed them to remain an icon in their niche for over 30 years. Today, they continue to manufacture bathtubs inspired by over-century-old American Standard molds, offering products that combine aesthetics and durability.
"We love rescuing and restoring discontinued pieces and bringing them back to life. That’s where our heart is, that’s what sets us apart."
Before Odoo: A World Without Digital Control

Like many companies before discovering Odoo, Casa Páramo faced major management challenges. In the early days, operations were handled entirely with pen and paper, making it difficult to track inventory, payments, orders, and scale the business. "It was chaos: we had to stay on top of everything," recalls Camila Páramo, Administrative Manager.
They experimented with fragmented solutions, billing on one platform, inventory on another, trying out multiple expensive tools that lacked integration. The needed to unify the operation under a single platform became increasingly evident.
"There was no digitalization at all. My parents built this company using pen and paper, but growing that way was just impossible."
A New Chapter with Odoo

The arrival of Odoo marked a turning point in Casa Páramo’s history. It was Camila who discovered the platform and proposed its implementation after trying several unsuccessful alternatives. What caught their attention most was the ability to integrate all business functions in one place.
Today, Casa Páramo has achieved full process traceability thanks to Odoo’s suite of applications. From CRM, to quotations, sales confirmations, production orders, and inventory management, everything is connected. This visibility has been crucial in making faster and more efficient decisions.
With modules like Inventory, Purchase, Invoicing, Maintenance, and Quality, they’ve managed to reduce errors, optimize resources, and anticipate needs. The CRM module, in particular, has become a surprisingly valuable asset in their supply chain, allowing them to track sales closures efficiently without relying on manual processes.
"We liked Odoo because everything is all-in-one. From CRM to production, everything is connected. It’s super cool."
Among the most helpful discoveries, Camila highlights three clear examples of how Odoo has simplified their work:
Project account status tracking: They can now instantly see what’s been paid and what’s pending, no need for third parties or manual searches.
Real-time workshop monitoring: No more running to the workshop to check on a repair. The workshop team updates the system directly, giving them immediate insight into the process.
Quote and document traceability: They can track versions, changes, and approvals in a single flow, send professional quotes to clients, and even receive confirmations as if they were signing a contract. Everything stays organized and backed up.
Additionally, the use of tags on documents has revolutionized how they organize hard-to-inventory products. With photos and labels, items are now easy to locate with no confusion.
Another recent game-changer has been the automatic generation of withholding tax certificates for suppliers, a feature that has reduced their reliance on external accountants and sped up tax procedures.

"It’s incredibly satisfying to see how something as complex as an SME can become more efficient, without losing its essence."
The Future Shines in Bronze

With a now digitalized operation, Casa Páramo plans to keep expanding within the specialized architectural design sector. The company is developing new products, exploring export opportunities, and strengthening its brand identity.
They’re also evaluating the implementation of more Odoo modules to support areas like project management and eCommerce, aligned with their vision for growth.
Casa Páramo’s story is a testament to the impact an ERP like Odoo can have, even in businesses with deep artisanal roots. If your company is facing challenges with control, growth, or digital integration, it might be time to explore what Odoo can do for you.
